Please note these swims will be cold, between freezing and 8C - dips!
Come and enjoy a guided walk, with 2 swim/dips on Dartmoor, one in Dartmoors Largest natural pool and another in a secluded waterfall pool. The hike is 8.5km and undulating. The day will start at 10am and finish around 3pm. Across the day, Kate who is a trained Mountain Leader will also go through basic navigation skills. While out walking and exploring you will cover map symbols, orientating your map, taking bearings, pacing and navigating to points off the beaten track!
The map section you need will be provided, but if you have a Dartmoor map and compass, that would be helpful. Please be aware Dartmoors waters can be very cold, and even icy so the swim times are short.
You will be contacted a few weeks before your swim with details about the swim, and then again within 48h to confirm the swim, and give any details about weather etc.

REFUND POLICY:-
-If we need to cancel, we offer a full refund, or free transfer to another date
-If you cancel 30 days before your swim we offer a full refund minus 10% admin fee per booking.
-If you cancel 14 days before your swim we offer a 50% refund
-If you cancel less than 14 days before your swim there is no refund
KIT TO BRING
- Wetsuit or swim costume- Goggles, earplugs, gloves, booties etc

- Post swim warm clothes- Packed Lunch
- Post swim food and drink (1 snack is provided)
- Thermos of hot drink
- Hiking Kit (underlined items are a must)- good walking boots, waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers, map (can be provided), compass, hiking poles, hat, gloves, at least 1 spare warm layer
