Join us for a week-long swimming retreat in Crete, based in Hersonissos in the central-eastern region of the island, close to Heraklion. Imagine starting your day with a sea swim through turquoise bays, hidden coves and dramatic coastal scenery, before relaxing by the pool, enjoying delicious food and soaking up the laid-back Mediterranean atmosphere. All of our swims are guided and fully supported, giving you the opportunity to explore some of Crete's beautiful coastline while developing your swimming along the way. Whether you're looking to improve your technique, build endurance, gain confidence in open water, or simply enjoy swimming somewhere beautiful, this retreat offers the perfect balance of swimming, adventure and relaxation.
Crete in May

There will also be plenty of time to relax and enjoy everything Crete has to offer. This isn't a week of non-stop training — it's a swimming holiday, with the opportunity to challenge yourself while still having time to unwind. We do recommend that swimmers can happily swim 1km as a minimum.
The Hotel and Accommodation
You'll stay in a 4-star All-Inclusive hotel called The Sergios Hotel , around 45 mins to the east of Heraklion.

Booking your space
There are two ways to pay for your retreat.

Pay the full holiday balance when booking and your place is secured.

Secure your place with a £350 per person deposit.
The remaining balance must then be paid no later than 4 weeks before the retreat.
If you would like your own room, there is a £250 solo occupancy supplement.
Once booked on you will contacted, and sent a waiver to fill in and return, and also a client info pack.
A brief weekly outline:
Day 1 - collected from Heraklion Airport. Check in at the Hotel is from 3pm. Relax, a short walk and dip and dinner depending on your flight time.
Day 2 - Meet, brief and swim locally in the AM. Lunch, swim 2 and home.
Day 3 -A hike and swim day, around 2 hours walking, and 3 different swim spots
Day 4 - We will be heading to a popular swim spot with some epic views, and then an afternoon spent exploring the more 'untouched' coastline
Day 5 - 1 longer swim in the morning followed by an afternoon exploring the local area, a choice of a coffee in town, or a walk
Day 6 - We head east to swim around a fortress in the middle of the sea
Day 7 - We visit 2 swim spots on the edge of mountains!
Day 8 - Check out at 11am. We drop people back to the airport, please be aware the guides flight might be earlier than your flight, so you can be dropped nearby or wait at the airport.
Refund Policy
- If we need to cancel the retreat for any reason then you will be offered a free transfer onto another swim with the same value, or you can have a 100% refund
- If you need to cancel:
8 weeks before the swim – The deposit is non refundable, any money paid on - top of the deposit will be refunded
4 weeks before the swim – The deposit is non refundable, any money paid on - top of the deposit – 50% will be refunded
Less than 4 weeks before the swim – no refund of any monies paid
