Join us for a week long retreat in Crete, in the central eastern region near Heraklion. Picture daily sea swims through turquoise bays, hidden coves, and dramatic coastal scenery — all guided and fully supported. Whether you’re looking to improve your technique, build endurance, or simply soak up the joy of swimming in nature, this trip offers a perfect balance of challenge and laid-back Mediterranean charm.

The week includes

• Breakfast in the Hotel

• Accommodation for 7 nights in a hotel

• Pick up from Heraklion airport (NOT Chania)

• Travel while in Crete

• All swims and safety cover

• Training and skills sessions

• Theory lessons

Not included

• Lunches - each day we will stop at a supermarket or cafe (allow 5-10 euros per day)

• Dinner - we go out to eat each evening, or you can make your own arrangement

• Snacks, extras like ice cream/coffee etc

• Tow floats/personal swim equipment 

• Transport to Heraklion, Crete

• Personal /Holiday Insurance

Swims and Ability Level

Swimmers should be comfortable swimming 1km in around 45 mins. We often have 2 swims a day, split into 1km in the morning, and another in the afternoon, although this is adjusted to the group and conditions.

A brief weekly outline:

Wednesday - collected from Heraklion Airport.  Relaxing, maybe a dip for anyone on an early flight we will meet in the evening for a meal out.

Thursday - Meet, brief and swim locally in the AM. Lunch, swim 2 and home.

Friday -A hike and swim day, around 2 hours walking, and 3 different swim spots

Saturday - We will be heading to a popular swim spot with some epic views, and then an afternoon spent exploring the more 'untouched' coastline

Sunday - 1 longer swim in the morning followed by an afternoon exploring the local area, a choice of a coffee in town, or a walk

Monday - We head east to swim around a fortress in the middle of the sea

Tuedsay - We visit 2 swim spots on the edge of mountains!

Wednesday - Check out, say our goodbyes and then back to the airport

Refund Policy

- If we need to cancel the retreat for any reason then you will be offered a free transfer onto another swim with the same value, or you can have a 100% refund

- If you need to cancel:

8 weeks before the swim – The deposit is non refundable, any money paid on - top of the deposit will be refunded

4 weeks before the swim – The deposit is non refundable, any money paid on - top of the deposit – 50% will be refunded

Less than 4 weeks before the swim – no refund of any monies paid
